November 10, 2019 - Applied Research Competition

In what is becoming a tradition, IBM/CCoE and Ben-Gurion University held for a second time an elite conference where the best cyber papers published during the last year (with at least one Israeli co-author). A referee team, led by Dr. Yair Allouche from CCoE and Dr. Rami Puzis from BGU, chose seven papers (out of the 17 nominations) to be were presented by their respective authors in front of an audience of researchers from industry and academia. This is a part of the CSAW (Cyber Security Awareness Week) international event done on collaboration with New York University. The paper "From IP ID to Device ID and KASLR Bypass" by Amit Klein & Benny Pinkas from Bar Ilan University was recognized by a panel of judges as the best paper of the year.
